Formula of sum of terms in A.P

We know that the term of A.P are in such way a,a+d,a+2d,a+3d,a+4d....a+(n-1)d

Here d is common difference

 Sum of A.P=n/2[2a+(n-1)×d]

Or

Sum of A.P=n/2[a+a+(n-1)×d]

                   =n/2[a+an]

:an=a+(n-1)×d
